Chief Justice Hugh P. Thompson delivered the annual State of the Judiciary address to a joint session of the legislature on Wednesday, Feb. 4. “Each day in Georgia, our judges dispense justice,” the Chief Justice said, urging the legislature to pass a base pay raise for judges, which they have not had for more than 15 years.
