On October 19, 2021, the Supreme Court of Georgia amended its Court Rules to add that any basis for invoking the Court’s jurisdiction because of a constitutional question must be shown using record citations.

The amendments have a later effective date of Monday, November 29, 2021, the first day on which cases will be docketed to the April 2022 Term. Amended Rule 19 addresses the enumerations of error in the principal brief in direct and cross-appeals; amended Rule 30 adds the jurisdictional statement requirement in applications for interlocutory appeal; amended Rule 33 adds the jurisdictional statement requirement in applications for discretionary appeal.
