In the wake of the ratification of the constitutional amendment creating a state-wide business court, and the enactment of legislation establishing the Georgia State-wide Business Court pursuant to that constitutional authority, see OCGA § 15-5A-1, et seq., the judge of the Georgia State-wide Business Court has drafted a new set of rules for that court, in consultation with a commission established pursuant to OCGA § 15-5A-10. That draft has been submitted to the Supreme Court for approval pursuant to Ga. Const. Art. VI, Sec. IX, Para. I. The Supreme Court now solicits comments from the bench, bar, and public regarding these draft rules.
