Atlanta, December 19, 2018 – On Tuesday, Dec. 18, Gov. Nathan Deal swore in Chief Justice Harold D. Melton and Justice Michael P. Boggs to a new six-year term following their statewide election in May to the Supreme Court of Georgia. The Governor also swore in Justice Nels S.D. Peterson, who was accompanied by his wife and two children, to a new term.”
