10/1/18 – NEW JUSTICE TO BE SWORN IN

Atlanta, October 1, 2018 – Charles Jones (“Charlie”) Bethel will be sworn in as Georgia’s newest Justice on the Supreme Court of Georgia on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 10:30 a.m. Governor Nathan Deal will administer the oath of office in the House Chamber of the State Capitol Building. Judge Bethel previously served on the Georgia Court of Appeals, the state’s intermediate appellate court.
