03/17/2022—Macon-Bibb County Proclaims March ‘Justice Verda M. Colvin Month’

In recognition of Women’s History Month, Macon-Bibb County has proclaimed March “Justice Verda M. Colvin Month.”

“Georgia Supreme Court Justice Verda M. Colvin is deserving of recognition as a phenomenal woman who has excelled in many roles, giving of herself to serve humanity,” reads the proclamation, presented by Mayor Lester Miller on behalf of the consolidated city-county government.

The proclamation also recognizes Justice Colvin’s leadership in the state judiciary, contributions to the practice of law, and her service in various professional and community organizations.
