Chief Justice Michael P. Boggs delivered his first State of the Judiciary address to the General Assembly today in the House chambers of the Capitol.

The Chief Justice spoke about the status of grant funds used by trial courts to address the backlog of serious violent felony cases, the innovative solutions employed by judges across the state to improve the administration of justice, and ongoing initiatives aimed at upholding the rule of law.
